Gaisce – The President’s Award is a self-development programme for young people which enhances confidence and well-being through participation in personal, physical and community challenges.
As Gaisce’s Project Officer role, you will be involved in supporting adults delivering the Gaisce programme, referred to as President’s Award Leaders (PALs) to young people in custody, as well as the youth justice sector (Youth Diversion Projections, Youth Detention, Special Units, Probation Projects) and other youth intervention projects. You will be developing the reach of the Gaisce programme by connecting with organisations and encouraging them to sign up new Gaisce Participants, and more.

Place of Work
Gaisce HQ at Ratra House in the Phoenix Park. Gaisce is currently piloting a hybrid working policy (candidate must have suitable work-from-home space with high-quality broadband). The Candidate must be based in or within a commutable distance of Dublin.
Salary
Salary €38,000+ (commensurate with experience)
The starting salary for the minimum requirements of the role being met is €38,000 – further consideration shall be commensurate with the knowledge and experience of the successful candidate.
Hours of Work and Working Hours
Hours of work are 35 hours per week, excluding lunch. Normal working hours are between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and evening work.
