We’re proud to see so many of our Gaisce Award Partners, PALs, and Participants taking part through events, talks, and activities that build understanding and allyship in their communities. 😊
At Gaisce, we believe every young person deserves to feel safe, valued, and proud of who they are! 💜

“Ireland will be stronger when we ensure every young person has the confidence and opportunity to fulfil their potential … By listening to them, learning from them, and recognising them as the citizens they already are, we may realise that many of the answers to our national challenges are already within their grasp.”
Delighted to see an Op-Ed by our CEO @avril_ryan2024 featured on @thejournal_ie this weekend!
Recognising and investing in the potential of our young people is essential if Ireland is to move forward with hope, courage and compassion. Nonformal education frameworks such as Gaisce – The President’s Award are vital in supporting them to fulfil this potential. As Award patron, our next President has an important role to play in empowering our young people, and building on the strong legacy of her predecessors in this regard. We look forward to working with President Elect aConnolly (@catherine.connollytd) over the next 7 years to inspire and support the young people of Ireland as they navigate these extraordinary times!
