Gaisce is delighted to welcome Arch Clubs on board as an official Challenge Partner.
The National Federation of Arch Clubs was set up in 1976 by a group of parents and friends who came together in order to provide a secure, social environment for people with special needs, their siblings and friends to learn, form friendships and above all have fun. At Present, There are over 50 community-based social-inclusion-for-all Arch Clubs spread across the country. There are approximately 2,000 arch club members, nearly 1,000 volunteers, plus up to 3,000 associated persons involved nationwide.
If you are interested in using your participation in Arch Clubs to count towards a Gaisce Award, speak with your Gaisce President’s Award Leader (PAL) and agree how you can record and share your weekly progress for the Gaisce Award.
If your organisation currently supports and involves young people to participate in a Gaisce Challenge Area, contact us at challengepartner@gaisce.ie to find out how you can become an official Gaisce Challenge Partner.
