Gaisce – The President’s Award is delighted to announce the appointment of Joy Winston to the position of Development Officer for North Dublin and Wicklow with the organisation.
Joy has been promoted to the position, having previously held the role of Administrator with Gaisce since 2021. Before joining Gaisce, Joy worked in senior retail management for over 20 years. Originally from Dublin and currently based in Meath, Joy is passionate about the importance of physical and mental health in young people. She volunteers with her local soccer club and is always on a soccer sideline at the weekends.
Commenting on the appointment, Paul Darby, National Development Manager at Gaisce said: “It is great to have Joy joining the development team. Joy always supports PALs to the highest standard in her role as an administrator in Gaisce. It is great that she is now bringing on all her passion and skills into developing the Gaisce award throughout Dublin and Wicklow.”
