The HOPE Foundation Becomes Gaisce Challenge Partner

In recognition of the relationship between The HOPE Foundation and Gaisce – The President’s Award, The HOPE Foundation is now an official Gaisce Challenge Partner. Young people who volunteer with The HOPE Foundation can use their activities to complete either the Community Involvement or Personal Skill Challenge areas of the Gaisce programme at Bronze, Silver or Gold Award Level.

The HOPE Foundation works with street and slum children in Kolkata, India and offers them protection, healthcare, nutrition, education, rehabilitation and a family for life. The charity offers a number of programmes in Ireland that encourages young people to learn about social justice and provides them with the knowledge and skills to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children in the world.

We are delighted that The HOPE Foundation will become a Gaisce Award Partner as they will also deliver and manage the Gaisce programme and have trained PALs to support participants to complete all elements of the Gaisce Programme.
