About
The Irish Taekwon-Do Association (ITA) is the national governing body for ITF Taekwon-Do in Ireland, operating under the umbrella of the Irish Martial Arts Commission (IMAC) — the Sport Ireland-recognised National Governing Body for martial arts.
ITA clubs and members benefit from access to certified coaching pathways, safeguarding standards, anti-doping education, and a commitment to excellence, inclusion, and youth development in martial arts.
The ITA supports young people not only in developing physical skills, but also in becoming leaders and role models through its Vanguard Youth Leadership Programme, which empowers teenage participants to build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility within their clubs and communities.
