Gaisce is committed to safeguarding the well-being of participants in The President’s Award programme. In all matters concerning child protection, the welfare and protection of a young person is paramount.
There are three stages to be completed in order to become a President’s Award Leader (PAL)
1) Garda Vetting
2) Reference Checking
3) Training
To volunteer as a Gaisce PAL, it is necessary for one to undergo a one day training workshop, garda vetting and reference checking which Gaisce will secure. To start this process please click here.
Please note that to be ready to start taking on participants in September 2014, all applications should be with us by May 1st 2014.
