Join the Gaisce – The President’s Award team as our new Business Support Administrator (Full-Time).

Gaisce – The President’s Award is a self-development programme for young people which enhances confidence and well-being through participation in personal, physical and community challenges.

The Business Support Administrator is a key hands-on role at Gaisce, responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of our office and administrative functions. This includes managing the processing and distribution of over 27,000 Gaisce Awards annually, supporting our President’s Award Leaders (PALs) and Award Partners (GAPs), and assisting with event preparation, stock coordination and office systems.

Working closely with the Head of Operational Support and wider Gaisce team, this role involves managing calls and emails, maintaining accurate records, upskilling in CRM systems (full training provided), coordinating supplies and logistics, and assisting with safeguarding and compliance processes. Strong attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.

The ideal candidate is a confident and proactive problem-solver with a background in administration, experience working with large volumes of data, and an interest in supporting youth development.

Salary

€32,000 pa (prorated in year one)

Hours of Work and Working Hours

Hours of work are 35 hours per week, excluding lunch. Normal working hours are between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and evening work. Flexibility is required, at peak periods. On-site attendance is a necessary part of this hands-on role; however, some hybrid working maybe offered during off peak periods. The candidate must be based in or within a commutable distance of Dublin.
