Ceremony dates and venus will be posted here at the end of August.
Completion sheets should be forward as soon as possible to ensure inclusion in the ceremony as places will be on a first come first served basis.
Please ensure that fully filled in completion sheets are returned to the Gaisce HQ as soon as the Award activities undertaken by the participant have been completed and verified. But please not before activities are finished inc Adventure.

Silver Jubilee Celebrations
Second Gold Award Ceremony in 2010. |
To celebrate our 25th anniversary there will be a second Gold Award Presentation Ceremony. Gold Award participants should ensure that they get their project/portfolio together with their record book (with verifying signatures and signed by the PAL) together with a completion sheet filled in by the PAL in to Gaisce HQ by the end of August: Gaisce - The President's Award, Ratra House, North Road, Phoenix Park, Dublin 8.

PAL RECOGNITION - CIVIC MERIT AWARD.

Our Patron, President Mary McAleese is a great believer in Gaisce and she is most grateful for the voluntary work done by our PALS. |
PALS that have been involved with us for five years or more can have their efforts on behalf of Gaisce formally recognised at an Award Ceremony where certificates are presented by The President
The next Civic Merit Award Ceremony will take place during October 2010. If you have five years or more voluntary service with Gaisce - The President's Award and would like to be included in this ceremony or if you know of a PAL that you would like to nominate please contact us at 01 4758746 for a nomination form.

Please return forms as soon as possible as numbers will be limited and invitations to attend the event will be sent on a first come first served basis.
The next event is scheduled for 14 October 2010. Places at the event will be offered on a first come first served basis. Participants for the October event will be contacted by letter during the last week in August/first week in September.

A great experience in the Wicklow Mountains
with the 2nd Field Artillery Regiment of The Irish Defence Forces.
The 2010 event took place from the 6 to the 9 of July and the participants really enjoyed the four days. If you are interested in being considered for a place on next year's event please write to us (1 page) stating why you would like to take part.

There will be no ceremony in 2009 but we will have a very exciting event to celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2010. Please get nomination forms in for inclusion in the Civic Merit Award Ceremony. Check in regularly for the date/venue.
