Red FM, Cork’s Hit Music Station, has partnered with Gaisce – The President’s Award to offer one lucky Gaisce participant or Award holder the opportunity to intern at the radio station in 2019.
This exciting opportunity offers the successful applicant the chance to gain experience from industry professionals, develop their skill set for the real world whilst being part of a fun, fast-paced team! The internship can also be used by the candidate to count towards their current or next Gaisce award.
To apply please submit a one minute video clip or sound-bite & 150/250 words detailing what you could bring to the internship, what you love about radio, what you would hope to learn about radio and why we should choose you, to comms@gaisce.ie.
All applicants must be 18 years of age and either have a Gaisce Award or be working towards achieving one. You must also be available to work in Cork from January 2019 for at least one day a week over a 3 to 6 month period. Exact details of the internship, including work schedule, will be tailored to the successful candidate. An interest in media production would also be an advantage!
